Once the system has been installed, the surface temperature shouldn't exceed 27?c in any area - between 20-22?c is ideal. Though some contractors will float a wood floor above under-floor heating systems, we will always glue our wood floors to the sub-floor where possible. As underfloor heating systems manufacturers will confirm, the best heat transfer comes through wood floors that are bonded to the sub-floor.
